There are various life circumstances which result in a person no longer being able to able to manage his/her own affairs or make critical decisions. We can assist our clients in providing for their loved ones who suffer from diminished mental capacity. This can be achieved through the appointment of an administrator or curator. Our services include, but are not limited to, the preparation and finalisation of applications to the Master in terms of section 60 of the Mental Health Care Act, 2002 for the appointment of an administrator, or curatorship applications to the High Court, and general advisory and consulting services in matters relating to diminished or impaired mental capacity. We also accept appointments as curator bonis of the estates of persons unable to administer their own affairs.

We offer a full suite of services related to deceased estates including, but not limited to, the administration of deceased estates, advisory and consulting services for beneficiaries/claimants/ executors/heirs, and dispute resolution for matters related to deceased estates (such as, applications to court to declare a will valid or to recognize an heir or executor), as well as matters ancillary to the administration of deceased estates (such as, pursuing claims for maintenance against deceased estates by the deceased’s spouse or child). We also accept appointments as executors of deceased estates and as independent trustees of family trusts.
